First of all, thank you for helping us build an infrastructure of trust, and a future of ethical AI, Algorithms & Autonomous (AAA) systems. Together we are doing important work for humanity, and even the smallest contribution at any level can have a meaningful impact in the lives of real people. If you give a new perspective in just one call, or suggest an edit for just one definition, you will have made a difference!
Here are some ways you can get started on making an impact:
All contributors are familiar with these foundational readings, and they will be helpful for you moving forward. Take a look through these to familiarize yourself with some of our key ideas and projects.
Join our slack – there are many slack channels within For Humanity with associated projects and purposes. These channels are also an opportunity to rub shoulders with industry leaders and other like-minded people. To get you started, you’ll already be a part of:
- #main_forhumanity: Here you can make and receive announcements for/from all your fellow contributors.
- #forhumanity-roster-and-bios: Here you can share a bit about yourself, and learn about the other contributors you might be collaborating with.
- #concierge: Here is where you can go with any questions about navigating the community and our projects, or about anything at all. #concierge is there just for you!
These are just a few, but there are many more for you to explore. Don’t be afraid to reach out and ask your fellow contributors about a channel or project, and how you can get involved!
