Jim Provost is a Director at BDO Canada and the former Lead Data Scientist. He has more than two decades of software delivery and data science experience. He received his Engineering Degree from McMaster University and a Masters in Computer Science from Queen’s University. He is a strategic adviser, previous TEDx speaker, father of two, and proud Canadian. He recognizes that the issues and risks to humanity from AI require rigorous discipline and oversight.
